This weekend Cam and Ross, whom we love dearly got married! And they had the world’s most adorable flower girls and ring bearer. I may be slightly biased, but seriously, look at them. So stinkin’ cute. We met Cam before we even started our ministry here. She was on the search community that brought us here. Cam and her parents and brothers have become family to us. Spending this weekend with the Garrison’s and seeing how much they love our kids and Eddie and I was bittersweet. I’m so glad we were able to celebrate with them, but we are going to miss them terribly.
The girls have been so excited to put on their pretty dresses and twirl around. They’ve even been practicing walking down the aisle throwing petals. I was a little worried Em would think the day was all about her instead of Cam, but at the rehearsal Cam asked for something and Emma told her “You’re the bride, you get whatever you want!” Her mouth dropped open and she almost fell over when she how beautiful Cam looked.
My girls didn’t have any confidence issues that day. They couldn’t stop staring at themselves in the mirror. It’s cute right now, but it won’t be so cute when they’re teenagers.
Pretty sure this was the most well behaved my girls have ever been for forty minutes straight.
This was Noah’s third time being a ring bearer and his one request was that he carry the real rings. Cam was just crazy enough to tell him yes.
Cam and Ross, we love you both very much. Thank you so much for including us in your day. It was an honor to be a part of it!
