In 2010 I started my photography business. In those years we've moved several times so I've run my business in Virginia, California, and now here in Nebraska. Photography has been my passion for as long as I can remember, and in 2020 I discovered a new passion. In March of 2020, we moved into an old house that was built in 1910. I had big plans to take my time renovating our home, but then the pandemic hit. Being in our home 24/7 sped up that renovation process, because what else was there to do?! It also allowed me to learn to do a lot of things on my own. I make a lot of mistakes, but I'm learning even more.
I love creating something new while preserving the soul of what it is. I strive to do this in my renovations, my furniture flips, my photography and my life. When I take portraits, I don't pose my clients in ways that make them look a certain way. I try to create moments where their personalities shine through. When renovating my home or a piece of furniture, I don't turn it into something completely new. I try to restore it while infusing it with my own personality. In my life I strive to grow and change while holding onto the things that make me, me.
specializes in authentic photography. Whether you are a growing family, graduating from high school, or saying I do, I love capturing your genuine moments. I believe that love makes a family and each person is unique, and capturing your story is an honor. My goal is to create portraits that your grandchildren and great grandchildren will look through gathered around the dining room table and that they will be able to see a true reflection of who you were.
My job is not to simply take photos of your family, it’s to help tell the story of your family with images and albums that your children and grandchildren will look through for years to come. That is why I believe in capturing real moments. Those perfectly imperfect moments that make your family truly unique. The ones that create a heritage and a legacy every time you look at them.
