Plaid. That was our last inspiration word for Hampton Roads Creative. I wasn’t able to be at the meeting where the word was decided, so when I heard it, I was a little stumped. I spent a few days walking around repeating the word in my head hoping inspiration would hit. And it finally did. It made me think of flannel. Which made me think of camping at the beach every year as a kid with my grandparents. Which made me think of s’mores. I had my shoot, and the best part was, I could reward myself when I was done with a delicious s’more.
This shoot came in a timely manner for me. It’s been almost a year since my Poppy died. I have one of his flannels so I made sure to include that in the shoot. Thanks to Sarah, Jenny, Libby, and Nikki for helping out!

The Bell’s new puppy joined us for part of the shoot. How cute is he?!
