Life is far from perfect, but those imperfections often times create the best stories and memories we never forget. Our road trip across country was no exception. It took us six loooong days to get here, but as I write this we are relaxing at my brothers house and the kids are loving hanging out with their aunt and uncle and furry cousin. Soon we will head out to Pasadena and our new life will officially start. Here are a few of my favorite memories from our trip.
As long as the iPads were charged, all was well with the world and the car was fairly quiet. When the batteries died, it got pretty loud.Six days in the car together and they still like each other!A three big rig pileup led to over an hour of highway play time. The kids thought is was a ton of fun for the first half hour. The next forty-five minute, not so much. This boy is the greatest.Layla decided to take a driving lesson while we waited.
