Noah’s birthday was back in October. Like, the beginning of October. He is one patient kid because we didn’t have his party until last weekend. He decided early on that he wanted to have a Lord of the Rings themed party. Have you ever watched Lord of the Rings with a little boy? Every two minutes their is a question about what’s going on. It makes a long movie really loooong. The invitation for Noah’s party may have been my favorite part. It wasn’t your typical invitation, but he loved making it!

I pulled out some of my inner nerd when planning for the food. For future reference, while roasting marshmallows over the fires of Mordor is a cute idea in theory, marshmallow don’t roast well with tea lights. Oh well, at least it was cute.

I hate goodie bags. You spend all this money on little toys that end up in the trash. Instead I asked my mom to make all the kids cloaks. Not at all related to Noah’s party, but the same day was the Chesapeake Christmas Parade and Noah’s Cub Scout troop walked in it. My boy is so cute!!
