After Eddie’s first interview for his job, I got online and looked for a Rising Tide group in Nebraska. Rising Tide is a HUGE group of creative entrepreneurs who believe in community over competition. I was part of the group in LA and I knew that if we were going to move to rural Nebraska, I’d need that community. I expected to find a group in Omaha and Lincoln, but was very pleasantly surprised to find there was one in Kearney, only 45 minuets from Lex. As soon as Eddie got the job, I joined the group and it has been so amazing to have that community and I look forward to our get togethers every month. Kasey was new to Nebraska as well, she moved here about six months before I did. She had been a part of her local Rising Tide group before moving here so she started our Kearney group shortly after she moved. I have loved getting to know her so much! We are both photographers, both new to Nebraska, and both enneagram 4s so we always have so much to talk about! We’ve talked for awhile about doing a photo session swap, I shoot their engagement photos and she shoots a family session for us. If you are a photographer I highly suggest doing this because we had so much fun! We went to Fort Kearney and she took photos of us and then while I did their session my kiddos played in the river in their nice clothes!
