One of my favorite things about summer is having our students that have gone off to college home for a few months. This summer we had  game night on Mondays. If you’ve ever played games with me, you’d be amazed that people actually kept coming back. I’m a teensy bit competitive, so there may have been some trash talking. To people I had just met. It’s okay though, it was all done in love. Mostly. Disney Scene-It became our regular game and mostly for one reason: Tina. Tina is our resident Disney genius. That, and as soon as a clip comes on she gets excited. Like, really excited. This week I pulled my camera out to document the excitement and I’m glad I did because these pictures make me smile every time I look at them.

Much like our real kids, our students just love when I get the camera out. Just look at those faces. Sheer joy.

Now you may look at these and think she was just excited because she was winning (which I’m pretty sure we were) but no, this is what she does before the question has even been answered.



Love it. And this ladies and gentlemen, is one of the many reason I love being the wife of a youth pastor.
