Last weekend, Eddie and I had the opportunity to go visit my brother and his new little family in Colorado. (Thanks Mom for the amazing birthday present!) I have waited so long to be an auntie and now that I am one, it was absolute torture waiting two months to meet my little sweet P. I spent the weekend sitting on the couch, holding my adorable niece and it was heaven. I did take a break from the baby holding to take Josh and Bekah and Penelope out for a family portrait session. Enjoy some of my favorites from our adventure at Garden of the Gods. Fun fact: my brother just said we were going to this Garden of the Gods and I pictured a nice flat garden with pretty flowers that we’d walk around so I wore heels. I like wearing heels when I shoot because I’m so short and the extra inches helps. Guys, Garden of the Gods is not a flat garden. It’s hiking and climbing. So I hiked in heels and got a lot of funny looks.
