Crafting with Kids | Piñata Easter Eggs

Uncategorized

the blog:

Last week was spring break for the older kids. I had all these high hopes of being able to do fun family activities until I realized it was finals week for Eddie and Layla’s spring break isn’t until next week. Our household attends three different schools with three different spring breaks. How annoying is that!! It made me very excited for summer to get here. I love the freedom of not having a schedule and being able to sit on the bench in our courtyard and read while the kids run around and play.

One thing we were able to do last week was decorate some Easter eggs. I let each kid decide how they would decorate their eggs and Emma picked Piñata Easter Eggs. easterThe first step was to cut fringe in tissue paperPasadena Family Portraits_0012Then they Mod Podged the egg and wrapped the fringe strips around the eggPasadena Family Portraits_0013Pasadena Family Portraits_0015Layla need a little help from her sissy
