Six months ago I got a text that had me simultaneously crying and jumping up and down. Chelsea sent me a text that read, “Wanna be my wedding photographer? I’M ENGAGED AHHHHHHH!” I met Chelsea when she was in our youth group in middle school and so I’ve had the privilege of watching her grow from a crazy pre-teen girl to the amazingly beautiful woman she is today. I was able to do her senior portraits, now I’ve shot her wedding, and I hope to one day be able to do family portraits for them when they someday have adorable babies! Chelsea and Toby, thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your day. I don’t even have the words to tell you what it meant to me to be able to walk through this day with you. To be able to witness the love you share. To see the way your families and community love you. You both are amazing servants and I can’t wait to see where God leads you together.
Chelsea chose to have just her mom help her get into a dress and it was one of the most beautiful moments I have ever experienced. I cried through the whole thing. And then I cried again as I edited the images. And then I cried again when I showed them to Eddie. He cried too. We were hot messes. After she was ready, Chelsea did a first look with her bridesmaids. Their reactions were priceless. And can you blame them? Look at how stunning she is!!
And Toby was equally dashing!Seeing his bride for the first time.
One of the funnest and liveliest receptions I’ve ever been to!
