Tremblay Family | Los Angeles Adoption Session

Uncategorized

the blog:

The Tremblay family is a special family to me. Three years ago, I decided to dive head first into adoption photography. Through some research of adoption photography I learned about Red Thread Sessions and immediately applied to be a part of the organization. Within a couple weeks of being accepted, I got an inquiry from Holly to do their courtroom session. I was thrilled, I was nervous, but as soon as I was in that courtroom I fell in love with this new aspect of my job. And as a perfect bookend, the Tremblay’s are also my final courtroom session her in L.A. In less than a month we will be moving out of state so this will be my last courtroom session here. I am so thrilled that last family I photograph at this children’s court was also my first! When I first met the Tremblays they were adopting three adorable children. In Fall 2015 they had their three children plus Caleb, their foster son who was only a couple months old at the time. They got an unexpected call from a social worker who let them know that the birth parent of their three oldest children had just delivered a new baby. Grace came to live with them which made for 5 kids 5 and under! Grace is their fifth and final adoption and I am so grateful to be able to have documented it!

All of my adoption sessions are through Red Thread Sessions, an organization that provides discounted photography for newly adoptive families. If you are a newly adoptive family looking for photography visit Red Thread Sessions website to find a photographer in your area. And if you’re a photographer please consider volunteering with us!
